Went camping and hiking the weekend, it was interesting to say the least. The first day was normal nothing out of the originally it was long but good, we got to the top of the mount and looking down was really good. We camp for the night and I clocked out as soon as I hit my sleeping bag. The next day was bad, it started out ok, we were on trail and the trail was a little rocky but not too bad. The next moment though, we went off the trail for a “short cut” which ended up with us climbing up and down a mountain and didn’t get back on the trail until 15mins before sun down. It was a really annoying experience because I feel like all of the extra work was a waste of my energy, we didn’t need to go off trail. The worse was at least I think I should have said something about it, because another guy and I really didn’t want to go off trail we should have voiced our opinion. Trust me that would never happen again. I got back home around 3 and I didn’t wake up til 5:45 at night, I was that tried. It was a good experience though, I learned a lot about the people on the trip and I definitely will trust some of them a lot more and going camping with then anytime they want.
