So some of my friends decided to celebrate my b-day a few days early yesterday so we went to play pool, have Uno's Pizza then when to a bar. It was very fun for the most part too bad one of the girls can't get it, it was so stupid. I got early gifts too and I think from my friends they spent too much on me. So lucky actually consider both were from girls. I got a nice Lacoste shirt and a set of personalize Cross pens. This is also something very different from all the years before as this is the first year that I gave gifts to more girls than guys usually I get my friends who mostly are guys gifts and almost no gifts for girls. This year I got gifts almost entirely for girls. Also this year the gifts I got were all something fairly expensive which I didn't expect at all and I kind of feel bad about. Today I got clothes from my mom and her friends but again this year it was different because it was all clothes I would wear, usually I get something I would never wear.
All of these were the upside, but for some reason I still don't feel that good. I can't really explain it, it was great hanging out with my friends and such but something is missing and I don't know how to replace it. I hope it gets better as the week goes on but I think its just going to get worse and that this feeling will just grow. Drinking hasn't help, nothing really seems to help. I really hate this feeling of emptiness inside…

Just when everything was starting to be more normal, when I was really starting to flirt and things of that nature, I get a call from my ex. I was not expecting that at all, it was almost like the last two week didn't happen, right after the call I was in hell again. I was in such bad shape that I had to ask for a cigarette from my friends. This is just crazy, my friend was like why did you even pick up the phone and I respond was that I couldn't just hang up on her. I'm moving on but it's a slow process and this just set me back again. I don't think that she will call again but I have no clue. I made it clear that I can't do this friend thing as in I can not handle it at all. I need to be away from her completely, I think the day we can be friends again is when I'm completely over it and dating other people again, MAYBE then but certainly not now. Let's move on the other news, the transit strike is finally over so I can get the rest of the gift tomorrow. We're going to play pool tomorrow and maybe drinking although I'm not sure about that now.

Something pissed me off today, it didn't at the time but the more I think about the more pissed I get. I hate people that like to tell jokes but can't take them. If you are going to crack a joke about generalization of other people you better be able to take a joke about yourself. Especially if you are with friends or people you work with, these are the same people that's been taking your jokes, you best be able to take a few about yourself otherwise. I'm not even going to get into the actually joke because that's even more retarded, but to me it was something very small and it should not have gotten to this point at all. I so pissed that I think I'm going to return the gifts I got but I can't think of a way to do it without making this a bigger issue. So stupid.

!@#$% MTA. There is a transit strike in New York City so the arteries of New York are now blocked and everyone has to find different ways of getting to where they want to go. I had like 3 hours of sleep today because I had to get up early to get a ride to work. I crashed when I was ghosting a machine in the ACM room. My friend was like she's never seen me that tired before and I get to do all of this again tomorrow but it should be better because I'm going to be late going to work, my ride has something to do first before coming to pick me up. If I have time I might get to the mall or go Friday to pick up the gifts. Going to crush now

Here are the pictures from yesterday. Just a quick recap, I'm playing a Chinese drinking game with Christine. I was babysitting so those were two of the kids there. I stayed home today mostly, not doing much. I just did a little window shopping to see what I'm going to get some of my friends. I think its coming down to about 3 people that's going to be getting gifts which isn't that bad. I think I'll get the gifts tomorrow or Tuesday depending on time mostly. I know what to get for two of the three but the third is going to be mildly hard but I'm sure I'll think of something.

I went for one of those family get together with my mom and her husband, we do this like once a year and when I'm in New York I tend to go as it's the only time I do anything really family like with them. So of course when we go over to the friends house I had to fix the pc and help with anything that was digital but it was ok, they have two kids a boy and a girl and I was playing Xbox with the boy until we went to dinner so we killed a lot of time. By the time we got to the restaurant, of course as I was the only semi adult, I was the babysitter for the evening. Oh did I mention I found my g/f…lol she was the cutest girl there by far…before you all freak out and such, I'm only kidding. There was the cutest 4 year old there, she keep saying I resemble different things, first a pig then a frog. She was so adorable. When I get the pictures from my mom I'll post them. When I wasn't babysitting I was drinking lots and lots of beer. It was a semi open bar for me at least so I drunk like a fish. I ended up playing this Chinese drinking game with this girl, lets just say it wasn't the first time she played. She was very good, lucky for me it was just beer, if it was shots I don't think I would be doing so well. So the game is a number game with 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20, for those of you that are Asian I'm sure you have heard or played it. Its actually very fun. Tomorrow I'm going to drop by the forest hills Verizon and see if I can get a new phone.
