Small World

Friday, February 03, 2006

It seems like no matter what I try to do, the world really is a small place. So after work today I went with an ex of mine to see if I was interested in joining a Dragon Boat team. The ‘meeting’ was fun and I’m joining because its going to be fun and the fact that it would be able to get me to workout on a more regular basis is good. The group was very kool and I think I’ll be able to fit in perfectly mostly because they seem to be just as sick minded as I am. As I talk to them more during dinner this fact became more apparent. Even they were like yea you’ll fit in fine. The reason why I say it’s a small world is actually two folds, one being that I think I know one of the guys on the team already although he probably don’t remember and I know other people that does dragon boat that I will be competing against. Second, I was down by my favorite place, Columbus Circle so we had dinner at Whole Foods and that brought back lots of memories and on the way home because it was late I saw people that works at Ollies by Columbia and that brought back memories too. Interestingly enough, there seem to be a job opening at Columbia for IT position so I think I’ll apply and see what happens. If I start working there, my my my I don’t even know what to say to that. It would just be so weird to go back over there, it would mean that something about Columbia and I have this weird connection. Even more weird would be see ppl I know there and then having to answer questions about relationships. Oh well so many ifs we’ll see what happens.
